whiteline steering precision kit evo 8 review
This upgrade is a little more time consuming to do, but it really isn't all that bad. I hadn't read much reviews but I figured since I had the subframe out I might as well. Install was straightforward, everything went on nice and smooth. This is the exact kit right here, http://www.maperformance.com/whiteli...n-kit-evo.html
It replaces the bushings that support the steering rack assembly. My old ones didn't look to be in bad shape or anything but I did this to improve turn in response/feel and why not since it was already out. After putting the car back together and taking it out for a drive I could immediately feel an improvement in the steering feel. Steering is very firm and direct. Any slop in play I had seemed to be gone. I was surprised how much of a difference they actually made, I wasn't expecting it to be so much night and day honestly. I would have to say the benefits are worth the work to install.

No noticeable nvh increase from these. I dont see why these bushings necessarily would since its just a steering rack. My car is already a poster child for nvh anyhow so I wouldnt be worried about a little more. But ya, to answer your question I really couldnt notice any increase in nvh.
