If there's interest from people for a large outlet pipe on drop in turbos I could probably get the ball rolling on getting some made

yeah I’ll make one once I have a welder, for now I tapered the inlet a bit. I just wanna install the turbo asap ish. I will take measurements of the outlet and make a jpipe later.

Just in case this turbo is sensitive to high crank case pressure, before the install I decided to tap the valve cover for some an fittings and shave it as well.

I have a feeling the results are going to be decent, perhaps somewhere in between the fp red and the fp black. I am expecting to get full boost by 4500-5k ish and anywhere between 450-500whp in virtual dyno. Maybe after I tune it I will throw it onto an actual dyno depending on the cost but usually virtual dyno is pretty close to my local dynojet from the cars that I have logged.

I forgot HKS makes this cast outlet as well. You could port match that to the compressor outlet but it is on the pricier side: https://www.rosssport.com/Brands/HKS...951-M300800-00

yeah I saw that one, definitely nice, but also definitely expensive lol. It’s ok tho, my brother purchased an everlast, forgot what model but now I’ll be able to fab pretty much anything!

Nice! Everlast stuff is definitely some of the best deal welders on the market, considered getting one myself a couple times.

Yeah it was a worthwhile investment. Definitely expensive but worth it for sure.

Ceramic coated the hotside after porting and polishing it. Used DEI 010301. When cured properly this stuff works nearly as good as commercial grade coatings.

Its a good idea in theory but I would prefer to stick to flat mating surfaces sealed by a gasket. Numerous advantages when compared to an o-ring version. Why hasn't any aftermarket us company made bigger j-pipes? I find that to be an oversight.
