1 week w/ AMS baseflash now....
 

Well its been almost a week now since Chris at AMS came down here to Fayettnam and had a tuning session...I decided to not get a custom tune because at the time my car only had 450 miles and wasnt fully broken in yet. So I ended up just getting a base flash for my mods (in my sig).

All I have to say is the car is a totally different beast now...It pulls hard and smooth all the way up to redline and is faster then my VIII ever was even though it had cams and all the bolt-ons. The Mivec seems to hit sooner and harder and the car is just a blast to drive.

I thoroughly enjoyed driving my car every day and now I just cant wait to get in it and go somewhere, anywhere...Thanks again Chris for the great base flash and Ill definetely be in touch in order to get a full custom tune when I need to.

how much boost are you running?

I never went past 5000 rpms til I changed the oil at 500 miles...then I went for some "spirited" driving :D

nope I didnt put her on the dyno cuz I hadnt finished breaking her in yet but I plan on it within the next few weeks after I install a couple of more parts {thumbup}

maybe you two should reread the initial post...I only took it up to 5000 rpm while breaking it in....then got tuned at 450 miles. I drove another 50 miles after the tune (normal driving) then I changed the oil cause the break-in period was over. Thats when I took it for some "spirited" driving...
