STM diet, Buschur parts, FIC 2150

A quick history about my cars build. It started while deployed back in Feb 2009-Aug 2009. I took the car to STM to have it built up a little. Got a FP Red, Kelofrd 272's, Buschur Race FMIC, Arp Head Studs, Still stock block, exedy double. I started racing once i got back. First trip to the track i ran a 11.1 with 100 octane and about 28psi boost. So i got hooked on the racing and opted for a AWD motorsports lightwieght driveshaft, Exedy Triple due to the double already slipping with the 400hp i had and we needed a little more fuel so i said f-it since im going to push this car more lets get the Buschur double pumper. That took me to November where i ended up running my best of a 10.7 at 130mph.

So i drove the car back to STM in Nov after the day of racing and left it there for a diet. The car was a full RS minus the weight of the driveshaft. While up there they took out the A/C, and some other random parts like extra brackets, some sound deadening. I later recieved a phone call asking me how far i want to take this the answer "lets take this all the way lets do everything we can." SO then out came the heater core, stock front seats, air bags, front cross memeber, evo steering wheel. I replaced the seats with some Sparco Sprint V and also a Sparco Steering wheel. Also we opted to ditch the 100 octane fuel for some E85. Along with those swaps came a bunch of Buschur Light weight parts, a new Buschur Exhuast, and some FIC 2150's.

Brings me to yesterday. I am on 30 days convolesant leave due to a surgery. I came back to NY to see/get my car and also opening weekend at the track. Pull into STM theres my car sitting right next to their Race car RICER both with slicks and just looking sick as hell. Go inside and talk to everyone where Emery gives me my keys to go check this out. Keep in mind i havent seen any of the work being done or havent seen my car since i left it there in NOV. The car was clean i open it up and the seats and steering wheel just look amazing. I start it up and just wow that buschur exhaust is mean sounding. So im just sitting there listening to it when Emery comes outside and says lets go for a ride. We went out and all i can say is damn this is a compleatly different animal. It pulled so hard it turned my stomach. Everything compliments itself and just works. The car now has 490hp and weighs in at about 2600lbs. talk about a diet going from around 3100 to 2600.

It is just such an amazing car now. I never thought it was possible for this car to be so much different. Its already making me want to go with a bigger turbo and push this car so much further. I was honestly at a loss for words after riding in this car. The track opens saturday and we are trying to put the stock block into the 9's.

Good stuff man.

Congrats! I'm sure the car is going to fly!

I have to say, This car is a monster! While out messing around with the tune on the street we got to get into a little pull with a zx-10r and was able to stay in front the whole time. Should be interesting to see what happens at the track this weekend! I hope the weather holds.

It put down 440 and 403 I believe. Now its at 490 450. Like Emery said this car is a monster now and I really didn't think it could get to be much different but its just wow now.
