What are they for?

 

You should have 2 long wires that you can run into your glove box to switch maps from bank 1 to 2. Most of us just leave them uncrossed for map 1 (pump) and then cross them to switch to map 2 (race gas, WI, etc). If you wanted to be really high speed you could buy a switch from radio shack, drill a hole in the back of your glove box, flush mount it and then put a "Go baby, Go" sticker in the direction of map 2. Or if you're like me and lazy, just keep the two wire separated by all the crap in my glovebox. HTH.
