Finally decided to take off my blitz BOV and put the stocker back in until I get the forged MR. Do I need to get a reflash???

no.. this is as bad as the guy who wanted too know if he needed a flash cause he was changing his trans.. a bov does not add performance.. so it doesnt affect a tune..

as you know VTA losses HP. I know Shiv kinda worked around it so I didn't lose that much hp during shifts. Just a question...

a retune might help a bit, but im sure you can run for a while with no issues... my friend did the exact same thing as he hated his bov.

I changed out my stock BOV to a JDM MR BOV. In 3rd gear I am now hitting 23psi spike holding 22psi to about 6000rpm then to 18 by 7500rpm. When in 4th gear I hit 24-25psi spike. I have a Defi D boost gauge and it matched my DD dyno session exactly for psi. Even though everyone thinks you are a tard when you ask if you need a reflash with a BOV, I am a little concerned. What is going to happen when it's 40 degrees out and not 90 degrees.

I have no way of controling boost with my car. I have a Vishnu Stage 1 Xflash with passive boost control, so I can't turn the boost down. A tube with a pinhole bypasses the stock boost control solenoid. I wonder how the lower IC pipe is going to affect my boost. This is getting interesting.

okay, since I took off blitz bov and put the stocker one back on, people say that stock one doesn't hold boost as well. What you guys think and recommend of a different bov

All you need is a good recirculating BOV. Personally I have been running the Greddy type-s without any problems whatsoever. If you don't like the Greddy type-s squeak, then go with a Greddy RS or any other good recirculating BOV. If you're still running the stock MAF, VTA is just no good...
