BR500 Xede maps

I guess this is not a popular combo? Shiv, David, Dustin, Calvin?????
Do you think I should not get the kit? By a 20G instead?????
I cannot lay down 3-4k for your kit and I am sorry......but please do advise

I think we did one of the older BR500s. However, with the newer kit the mapping is going to be different. Honestly, with a kit that makes that much power, you really do need to do custom dynotuning. Shiv is coming to texas soon, ya know.

Turbo

Dustin, this is one of the non BB turbo kits, I think. It has about 4000 miles on it, comes with injectors, is in Houston and for only $ 1500. All I would need is something to hold me over until Shiv comes in November. Is it worth it? or should I get a 20G/WR? No track time with my car, mostly street and I think my stage 1++ is slow.....

Thanks for the feedback and support

A reflash for a GT30R (low boost) and injectors will hold you over until then. Shiv sent me a reflash for my GT30R w/ 680's and everything was fine.

Note: A BR500m non-BBm is a slow spoolin' **** when compared to a GT3076.

I don't know my br500 made 20lbs at 4300rpms in 3rd. That isn't that bad.

Just get the XEDEflash for Stg 2/3 and zero out your XEDE's fuel and timing maps. The flash along, as jj said, is good and safe for your set-up. The XEDE will then be used to fine tune for max power.

Br500

I left 2 messages for Vishnu on Friday and never got an answer. The tune date is only a month away and I need to get things done. Could I get the following advise from one of you guys???
BR 500 with injectors for $ 1500.00
WR + injectors about $ 1600.00
20G + injectors about $ 1600.00

which would you do for a street driven car on 93 octane. I can live with a bit of lag if it helps cure the sucky top end of the evo (past 5500 rpm).

Anyone in Houston with a BR500 that is willing to give me a ride so I can actually see how it feels? Thanks,

Sigfrid

Where is the support????

Okay, now this is getting unproffessional,

Can anyone at Vishnu answer my request or do I need to find another vendor?
I am sick of leaving messages with no response. It was exactly the same when I installed my SMART crap. I am starting to feel a little pissed off here.

Do I need to reflash my ECU for the 680 injectors?
This is a big factor as I would need to be without a car......
Do you have a base map to hold me up until the dyno in TX?

Do I even want a BR500 or should I go 20g/WR?

Consider this my last plea as a customer. No reply, no more $ from Sigfrid

You will need a reflash for the 680cc injectors and the BR500. The reflash will let you run low boost (15-18psi) until the dyno day. If you want the WR/20G you just need a reflash for the injectors. Both require you to zero out the XEDE.

Note: since the BR500 is internally gated you my want to call Vishnu and ask if there are any special requirements in regards to wastegate control. On externally gated units you need roughly 1.4bar worth of springs in order to get proper boost control w/ the XEDE.

IMHO, I wouldn't buy a BR500 w/o driving one first. I would definitely buy a WR, before the 20G at this point in time. The WR is more refined at the moment and will get you 20-30whp more on pump. The 20G has some surge problems and is laggier then stock.

Nice customer service, Vishnu and thanks for the support

The day is over and Vishnu has yet to answer.

I guess I am on my own. I am very disappointed with Vishnu

Jezzz Sigfrid...We were at the track all weekend, testing products for y'all, and I just got back from school all of about 10 mins ago. It may be different in other parts of the world, but in CA, the day ends at 11:59.

Anyways....
You will need a flash for the injectors. In regards to turbo choice, I know that the old BR500s have spool problems, in between shifts. So if its a punchy car you are looking for, I dont think you will find it with this turbo kit. But in all honesty, you are asking us to comment on turbo kits, which we did not develop, or done substantial testing on.

I would say that you should save your pennies, and buy a turbo kit that fits all of your needs, not just the one that you can afford right now.

Turbo choices

Thanks Dustin. That helps.

Can Shiv reflash my ECU at the dyno day in November or does it have to be sent in? Thanks,

Sigfrid
