What's the difference between stage 1+ and 1++?
 

Just curious although I know there's absolutely no rules governing this. I see people post Stage 1+ as well as 1++ and even, wait for it, 1+++!

So, what mods qualify for 1+, then up to 1++? I imagine stage 1 plus cams = the 1+ moniker, what's needed for the extra +?

Useless question I know, but I'm bored. I'd like to think that with my cams and upgraded turbo I qualify for a least Stage 1+.5

upgraded turbo? like, new turbo, or upgraded stock turbo?

thats what the second + is, its the 10.5 hotside on the stock big 16g.

so, stage 1++ is cams and 10.5 hotside in most cases

I think the 1++ is with upgraded turbo hotside , but not sure

1++ has 10.5 hotside and cams, 1+++ has a FMIC added to the previous. 2 is with the ATP 3071 kit I think, and the 3 is a full blown GT series turbo with exhaust manifold and various other upgrades.

I might be 100% wrong on these so dont take it for gospel

who cares about Stages? thats like all the supra guys with their BPU+++++++++++++++++

because, its easier to say stage such and such than list your 10 mods out.......thats why.

atleast people can get an idea with the stages and pluses, it may not be exact, but approximate.
