OK I'm computer retarded

So I finally got my Lap top working with internet connection. Now first thing I do is go onto Vishnu’s web site to download the FREE tuning software and guess what my computer can’t un-zip the file. I’m running windows 98 (Old lap top just for tuning and saving maps). Can anyone share a software for un-ziping files??

Thanks for the help!!!

Eric

You either have a bad install, or no install, of the Windows Installer. Go here to download the installer installer:

BTW, Is XMAP supported on Win98?

Thanks all.

Got everything working fine and dandy. Xede Xmaping is awsome software. Very easy to use.

Now how do you save a map from the xede???

Thanks again for everyone's help.

Hey Eric,

I haven't tried this yet, but there's an option under the Maps menu called "Download maps from Xede". You could give that a shot or else try "Download and show maps" and then save by going into the File menu and "Save as..."

Yep that's what I was thinking to do. I could not get the other software working for the loading of maps.

Thanks going to try this tonight when I get home.

Eric
