So i have wired up my AEM kit and am testing it. When I hit the TEST button, it turns on the pump for 6 seconds. Its supposed to run it progressively from low to high. It sounds normal, then once it sprays the pump "clicks". It sounds like it is turning off and on. I don't know if its normal or what. No error lights come up.

The pump is cycling on/off as it has a demand switch. With our vari-cool you can program that out using our free software, however the AEM kit will have no such option. The smaller your nozzle is the faster it will pulse. As soon as the system starts to pulse it will not be progressive, infact your boost can be rising but the flow rate will fluctuate.

Hold the button down for the 6 seconds. The pump should start slow and increase in speed. It will not pulse but will give a steady increase in flow.
