360° questions, i'm new to wi.....

Having just received my Aquamist HFS-5 i would have some questions, here in Italy nobody seems to take in good consideration wi systems.....
First of all, i would like to use failsafe capabilities of the system for switching, in case of malfunction, the ecu ( it's a Mectronik, similar to a Motec or a AEM ) from the normal map to a more conservative one, and the boost controller solenoid ( AVCR) from the target boost ( i think about 30/32 psi ) to the nominal springs rate, about 14 psi, is it a good strategy?
For optimal performance, wich parameters i should control with the wi controller, throttle, rpm, injectors duty, and what other? I'm going to build a brand new and simplified engine cabling system to put instead of the original, as i have no more many sensors that original engine uses ( idle control, narrowband lambda, egr, and so on..), and at this point i would integrate in the new cable system all derivations for the wi system.
As regards the mix, i was thinking about a 50 meth and 50 reverse osmosis water, as i have a good production system from another hobby i have, tropical fishes, practically this water contains no minerals, it's completely pure, is it good for water injection systems?
One last thing, about the setup, what would be a good point of start in terms of percentage of water/methanol compared to the fuel injection, starting to inject the mix from a 50% throttle load and 3500 rpm would be a good choice?
How many degrees could i approx add to my advance map, wiith 50/50 mix?
(My engine is a 2.3 stroker, with race head, 280 11.8 mm lift tomei cams, 1200 injectors, Magnus intake manifold with 3" throttle body, twin 044 Bosch fuel system, GT4094R turbo twin waste gated)
I know i have done many questions, hope somebody will be disposed to help me, this forum is the only info source i have....
Thanks in advance, and excuse me for my english.....

: im learning myself, so im not at liberty to give advice but if you put your questions in a list form maybe in an effort to "un-break" you english it may read alittle easier and you can get more responses:D

hope you get some feed back better than i supplied{thumbup}

boost cut or switching to a more conservative map are excellent strategies for keeping the car safe. boost cut can be achieved easily with a low power comsumption solenoid valve like the aquamist 2 way inline valve part #806 234 or a mac valve series 36 - which ever is more convinient to get hold of
Do you tune your car yourself?

the HFS-5 high speed valve will pulse in-sync with ONE of your fuel injector - nozzle you choose determines your water to fuel ratio.

RO water is good.

you want to be injecting your water early - before peak torque. The water consumption is very low. On my evo8, water injection starts at 4psig

every car will behave very differently as to how much timing you can give to it. you will have to try it out and see how much it will allow

there is a official HFS-5 Q&A thread:
https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=253455

put your questions there so that Richard will see it and also it will help others with the same setup learn more

Thank you very much for the answers, next week i'm going o install the hfs-5 system, every new question will be posted on the Q&A official thread.{thumbup} {thumbup}
