StopTech Looking for Paid Marketing Intern

Paid Marketing Internship
STOPTECH LLC, a leading manufacturer of high performance brake systems, is searching for a college intern to assist with our marketing efforts 10-20 hours per week.



The Intern would have the opportunity to work in the following areas:

Development and maintenance of website content and web-based advertising
Creation of collateral material (datasheets, catalogs, multi-media)
Writing press releases
Evaluating media, negotiating rates, and placing insertions
Assist with ad design and layout
Planning and management of trade show participation in the USA
Monitoring and responding to automotive internet message forums
Requirements:

At least 2 years towards a BA/BS in Marketing, Communications, or Business. Extremely strong writing skills a must. Excellent Computer and web skills including, Page-Maker, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, and Quark. Candidate should have general automotive knowledge, an understanding of vehicle modification, and preferably race/drivers-ed/autoX experience. Must be a current resident of the Los Angeles area, and enrolled in a local college or university.


This is a great opportunity for an automotive enthusiast to join a small, quickly growing high performance company. The candidate will have the opportunity to work on a wide array of tasks and make some tuition money.
