Fellow CA lowered lancers, help!
I am looking to lower my car again, and I need to make sure My tires arent going to rub. I am running 17x7's w/ 215/45's, and I am not sure of the offset on my wheels. If there is anyone close near Modesto, CA hit me up. I would like to know if we could hook up, throw my frints wheels and tires on your lowerd car and see if it rubs. Would save me some time and some money. A case of beer is in it for ya... as long as you are at least 21 ;-)
PM me if you can help.

moved to West region. You might have better luck there. fwiw, you should read the sticky on tire/wheel size in the US Lancer suspension tech forum. As long as you have the right offset, you shouldn't have any rubbing with those tires up to about a 2.5" drop. If you have the wrong offset (like I did when I bought 17s) they will rub the inside of the well.
40 mm off set
you need 40 mm off set it will rub @ full bump (suspention all most bottomed out) and full lock (steering turned full left or right) your car does not stay in this state for long I have this same tire combo with tien ss works well.

Hey Shaggy glad to see you're still lurking around. You always have very useful information to share. History dictates that flames usualy happen within 2 hours of the initial post, so this guy is safe. Not sure how this one got under the radar, but that's a good thing.
