AMS Flash San Diego Area April 4th thru April 11th

I may be coming down to San Diego between the 4th and the 11th of April and I was curious if there was enough interest to get a flash day/weekend going.

If you are interested in the above dates and could commit, let me know in this thread and we can set something up!

If the group would like to rent out a dyno it will be at an additional cost which is determined by the dyno facility.

AMS Base Flash

Base flash for your current list of modifications. This is also followed up with a quick road test with logging to ensure that everything is working properly. You can expect at least a 20whp and 20ftlbs torque gain. We will be doing these all day, in-between the custom flashes on a first come, first serve basis. $180 (CASH ONLY)

All base flash cars must have:
Fuel Pump (Recommended)
Stock injectors
Stock MAF intake pipe
Stock Turbo
Stock Fuel Pressure

Benefits of the AMS Flash :
RPM limit increased (customer specified)
Set 2-Step launch RPM (customer specified)
Boost control (Custom and Base flash)
Raise fuel cut to safe level, or remove completely
Air/Fuel curve optimization
Timing CURVE optimization
MIVEC Tuning on Evo 9’s (Custom and Base flash)

AMS Custom Flash

This Item is for putting a deposit down to start a custom flash day in your area, OR to join a custom flash day that has been setup already. We will need at least 5 people to justify coming out to your area to do custom flashes.

You have the option of leaving a deposit ($100) or in the drop down box below, you can select to pay for the entire appointment at this time ($395). If you are only leaving the deposit, you must bring CASH to the appointment, as it will be our only means of collecting the money on the spot.

You will need a complete modification list written down in the comments section of the checkout pages.

Here is a breakdown of the pricing structure and what is included with the flash.

Benefits of the AMS Flash :
RPM limit increased (customer specified)
Set 2-Step launch RPM (customer specified)
Boost control (Custom and Base flash)
Raise fuel cut to safe level, or remove completely
Improved idle with cams
Air/Fuel curve optimization
Timing CURVE optimization
MIVEC Tuning on Evo 9’s (Custom and Base flash)

Custom flashes will be full tuning of your vehicle’s A/F curve and timing curve. Also, for the EVO 9 the MIVEC timing will be optimized. As you know every car is different, some are very different, and this will bring out the very best in each car. Unlike the base tunes, they will be adjusted for your specific car to extract the most horsepower and torque possible. Actual numbers will depend on the modifications to your car. Each custom tune will have its own 2 hour time slot. $395

AMS flash is great, lots of good results in the Vegas crew. I plan on dipping to the 10's on the stock turbo once I get my clutch replaced.

Would this work well with stock cars? Should my car be modded first? If I do get the custom flash, would I have to flash again after I've added mods later on?
Very interested if it will work out for me.

List of interested people

sashin

Ducker

I am getting in contact with a couple shops in the area, and will post up any relevant info I find.

I assume everyone would rather do this on the dyno?
