Hey guys, I was just wondering if anyone in AZ has ever had a problem with the law regarding their tint because everyone I know has not had a problem but I was just wondering if anyone has had any issues and how they were resolved. Thanks.

 

I have a friend with 5% all around on his Flint Mica Scion tC. No one has hassled him yet. It looks nice, but its tough to see through at night. I've heard light colored cars are a bigger target because the dark tint really stands out. I just went with the legal limit and I'm happy with it.

 

Yea I think it maybe just certain areas where cops enforce it more. I am in the scottsdale area and there are a lot of nice cars and all of them have illegal titnts on them so I dont know if its just that they do not care or they dont get hassled here, especially since its so hot.

 

Never hassled on my last two cars which have both been around 12%. From what I've been hearing lately, it seems that the Gilbert cops are stopping more cars for mods (one person mentioned the cop looked under the car for a cat). Phoenix, Chandler, Mesa and Scottsdale haven't been too bad from what I've seen and heard. Of course I haven't been out much with my twin dumped external wastegates... I'm sure it'll attract more attention from further away now
