Good service shop in Socal?

Just bought my car a couple days ago. And the "service engine soon" light came on and there have been an increase amount of squeeking noise everytime i brake. So, just thinking i should bring it to the shop.

Tried searching got nothing. Where do you guys normally go to??

Im in cali as well... (northridge area) There are a couple of shops you can go to, but in your case I would take it to the stealership... Especially if your "stock" There is 1 in Glendale that is supposed to be aight, and theres a new stealership in Calabasas...

For the check engine light soon, You might wanna try disconnecting your negative cable on your battery to reset the ecu!

And for the squeeling brakes, I think most of our brakes are squeeky. I know mine squeel a lil coming to a stop!

I tried to have the stealership, that I bought my car from, before I left the lot, warranty my ex mani, because I had my car shipped from over seas, and when I got it (w/ 12 miles on it) the mani was/is all rusted! They wouldnt do it!!! Yes I know that all of them over time do rust, but w/ 12 miles on it...??? WTF
anyway maybe that will help...
