FFTEC tuned EVO8 GT30R 91oct & C16 dyno results and video

Hey everyone,

We finished up a customer's car last night at the shop and thought i'd share our HP/TQ numbers with you all!

This is a very clean Evo 8 with the following mods:

- Stock ECU
- Stock shortblock
- Unported head w/ HKS 272's
- AEM cam gears
- Shearer tubular exhaust manifold
- Garrett 3076
- Tial WG
- Perrin I/C
- Espelir eshaust
- ARP head studs
- Walbro 255
- GM boost solenoid
- PTE 1000cc injectors
- FFTEC custom intake pipe

Car runs and puts down good power on our Mustang Dyno!

Most of the pump gas runs were done in the heat of the day but remained pretty consistant.

The C16 tune was done a little later in the day in much better dyno air!

The car starts up, idles, and runs like a champ w/ the 1000cc's in there.

With that much power and a good driver i'm confidant the car can run in the low, low 11's consistantly maybe even high 10's w/ a good 60ft but i'm not sure what the intentions are of the owner.

More info and dyno graphs in the video to follow and go easy on me as i'm still getting used to making basic vids on windows movie maker as i have yet to get an editing program for the avchd video files i have currently so they are converted to mpeg2. Enjoy.

Its nice to see results from stock heads, stock ecus. I can hope for similar results as I will be heading the same route. Any more info on the turbo?

I mean stage 3 motor, head,aem ($20,000 set-ups) and all that stuff is cool, but for my wallet its not to practical at the moment, and it seems those are the cars that usually get the graphs posted.

So what were the final numbers on pump 91 oct? 345?

Ya i know what ya mean as there are very, very few Evo's in our area running extreme set-ups except for me and our other blue Evo that's getting a gnarly set-up shortly.

Most of what we get around here is gunna be stock ecu/ unported head w/ dif turbo set-ups.....and remember we get **** 91 oct so it's not feasible to run crazy set-ups on race gas all the time.

We tend to try and keep the customers off alky/meth as we have had bad experiences with it and prefer to keep things simple!

Hell my car has the stock head w/ cams and valvetrain so i'm gunna see how fast we can go on it
