THe drive back was the best. Corey and I raced a Benz. At first we just drove past it and then it wanted to race. Both Corey and I beat it, but it stayed with us for a minute. And trust me our cars are fast.

I have the Forge VTA BOV and I love it. As far as I know it doesn't void the warranty. My friend that works at the Mitsu dealership here is the one that told me to get one. Anyways, no matter what you do the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act makes it against the law for dealers to void warranties based upon the fact that you have aftermarket parts. They have to prove beyond reasonable doubt that the specific aftermarket part in question caused the stock part to fail. Otherwise they have to replace it under warranty.

Man, you guys give us a summary of the weekend in detail. I want to know about the tune, what you thought of Al, how the tune went, etc. I wrote a book after I came back from LA last April.

John, were you able to drive the car home? Did you get tuned before the TC went?

I am still in Tucson, but I am coming home for Thanksgiving weekend. Unfortunately, I won't be bringing the evo...

the car made it back some how.it went out on the way there.we did a couple of pulls in third,but the car was getting worst

That sucks, John. Do you think the drag racing did it in? I mean you only have what 7000 miles on it? Was it because of the clutch install?

Kinda weird it goes out after you get the new clutch and you did not drag or launch the car on the new clutch?

I hope you were able to get the ECU flashed for your new cams and mods.

And Corey and Casey's tune went well?

i didn't launch on the new clutch yet.i think it was the not having the restrictor in the car,and the new clutch has so much clamping force that it caused the tc to break.i did some research,and somebody had the same problem.i'll find out how bad it is tomorrow

Sucks. Maybe that's why Mitsu does not allow aftermarket clutches. Anything stronger than stock may put too much shock on the TC. The stock clutch will always break before the TC unless you put a strong clutch, then the TC breaks. TC costs more than stock clutch. Makes sense.

But Casey has the ACT and no problems with his TC.

Also, I cannot post on LVEVOS. I log in, but I cannot reply to posts. It keeps directing me to the login page. I login again, and same thing.

casey has an act but i think i was putting down more power than he was on the trip there.this happen after 5th gear pulls on the highway at 120+.i really think it was the not having the restrictor in.you can't log on at lvevos,hmmm.........talk to the mods,alex,casey,corey

^ true but I never removed the restrictor. I chose to leave mine in. It could be that or just the install on LDL's part.

My tune went really well. My cars pulls so hard on the top end now and you can fell the tq increase on the low end thanks to the 264's. I'm sure we will go into more detail come Thursday night.
