With the subies, 3qt MT90 with 1qt shockproof cleared this up for me.
The car has 33k, under warranty, so if I do need to have the syncros replaced, how long does that usually take. And compared to the IX, the clutch seems alot less crisp with less travel. Also have some stiffness going into 1st when the engine is cold. After warm up it seems fine though.
Anyway, just wanted some advice from the guys who have some trial and error experience with the synco issue. Any of you able to improve it with the use of better tranny fluid?
Thanks

Anyone of you Evo guys interested in a private Evo track day clinic?
This would be a full track day at Pahrump track with me as your instructor/coach. It would be during a private SMMP club day so the track would be fairly empty with only few locals running their cars.
Perfect for the beginner to intermediate driver that wants to go quicker before their next track day, or just to get familiar with tracking a car before going to your first track day.
1 on 1 instruction that includes you driving your car on the track, lead & follow sessions, you riding with me & also me riding along with you in your car, theory & other track day tips. You will absolutely 100% GUARANTEED be faster by the end of the day.
I can only do 1 person a month. $500 for the day which includes track time & me coaching. You can not buy another mod for that kind of money for how much faster/quicker laptimes you will get.
will do for $400 for the first person who signs up.
...Go back to the road course with confidence. PM me if interested.

Infact, I'm going to drive the car for a bit before any modding, hopfully log it with a cable, change the tranny fluid and see if it still grinds much. Since I would want it to be stock for warranty work.
At 6k it doesn't grind going into 4th, at 7k it does. "Could be just bad oil with out any friction for the syncros.

I'll have to press em back to back to really describe it more.
