Las Vegas Evo's
I read that thread and honestly the powerband looks horrible and drops quickly after it peaks. I know this is the first time messing with the tune and it doesn't have things like a boost controller but really the results aren't that impressive and I know Shiv tunes real aggressive no matter what he says.

Anyway, I know it's been a long-a s s time since I've posted (though I lurk here and there obviously), and a lot of you probably have no clue who I am, but I'm seriously thinking of getting rid of my 03 VIII. After having it since it was new, it's about time for a new toy, and the new ones have seriously grown on me. My damn car has been running like complete A S S for a couple months now (think I have a major boost leak and/or something else going on). I'm thinking of trading it in the way it is, but then again I KNOW they'll try to take me to the cleaners even more since it's not running right. I know a lot of you guys work on your own cars and know your s h i t, but I don't really know who would be able/want to help me since I've been out of the EvoM loop for a while now. I want someone that knows their s h i t about this car to look/work on it, not some f u c k t a r d who will f u c k it up worse than it already is....
So, anybody out there up for helping a fellow Evo owner out?? Beer and pizza on me. =) I would REALLY like to get this looked at and fixed. I've been driving it basically without any boost and it's like driving a regular Lancer.....I'm ready to shoot myself!! LOL

Are you sure that Daniel is at People's and not United Mitsu??? Last I knew he was at United, but that was a while ago I got a business card from him....

Def not me. I'm seriously debating going back to my roots and getting a MKIV R32 and dumping the HPA FT-350 Turbo kit on it . Love my Evo to death, but not having a well rounded car is a downer sometimes. And growing up more each day with the Evo, you realize and understand that it's not always about having the fastest car to own the roads. Plus having a more subtle car that you can make equally as fast or even faster and still have driver comforts is starting to be more appealing. Who knows, wouldnt be for a while anyways.

I went to look at a X. Its a great car. I would like one in addition to my IX for daily driving.
But, it totally lost the focus of the evolution pedigree. A evo is not supposed to be "nice" in any department.
Funk the Mitsubishi IS350, and funk the new STI station wagon.
