yeah that would look good (on your car) but color choice is personal so i think we are going to have to custom order them unless blue, black and one other color will please everyone. Not sure what everyones taste is.

whoa cayucos looks really fun and nice to drive on -=o] just cruise through it at a decent speed ...not too fast that would be awesome! the surroundings look nice...very nice...im a sucker for nature haha -=oP

hmmm ok well you guys dont be surprised when you see my car its not in its best shape and its near stock -=ox ...i have a nice scratch on my front bumper and a cracked headlight from my accident -=ox the only thing i have so far as a mod is a rear anti-sway bar...funds are coming in really slow so you guys might have to wait for awhile until you see me getting some serious mods done. -=o\ but trust me soon as i get things straightened out the first things in line is a set of light rims sticky rubber and a lowered stance -=o]

Alright guys, the primary focus is attendance. Good turnouts = Good meetings, Members attending meets regularly = an actual club. SCLC has been around for about a year now and it still doesn't really feel like a car club. And why not? [rehtorical question] We're sponsored by Road///Race, the only shop that actually listens to the Lancer community and plays an active role. Hell, they hosted two of our meets!! We have t-shirts? The answer is we don't have any really commited members. Aside from a few reliable members; Billy, Kara, Eddie and a couple of others (I'm bad with remembering names) attendance is very spotty. T-shirts and decals are cool to have but are not a major concern at the moment. I have the designs for both and the only thing left to do is to make them. Quality in printing was sacrificed in the last batch of shirts due to lack of funding and orders. The cost to get silk screening can be very pricey if you're only ordering 10 shirts. I promise you guys that as soon as we have steady attendances at our meets we'll have hats, shirts, keychains, decals etc. I even have group buys ready to go but we all know that requires an actual group. But for now come to the upcomg meet and represent!! This has been a special service announcement brought to you by plastikpyro inc, the number 9, and PBS.

i may not be in socal or the club but i do now for certin if you ever make having mods a requierment you will never grow as a group to make a club work you need to let pepole exspress themselfs through there cars and if that means complatly stock so be it. as soon as you start telling pepole what to do with there cars they will not come back. just a little advice from some one who has been part of many car clubs and is now starting his own. take it for what it is worth

John i agree. But thats my opinion and Brian thinks i may be reading a little too deeply. I think turn outs should be the MAJOR concern, not mods. But who cares what i think, im not a president lol.

that's why I'm saying it's not a priority now... as we grow, we'll ask that you do start to get mods... but no, as of yet, it's not a concern. I just want people to come.
Richard= sorry if I kinda bashed the shirt, I love it and wear it all the time in support, I didn't mean to say it sucked or anything! swear! It totally doesn't, so sorry if that came across a little harsh, didn't mean for it to. I totally understand why it was done the way it was, and I really am thankful that you took the inniciatve (sp?) to get the shirts done, the design is awesome.

granted I'm all for making meets but I need $$ to make this stuff happen and sometimes third saturday of every month is good other times it is not...my suggestion lets do mini-meets... just get some heads together and chill...doesn't have to be a full on shindig... just chill and bs... not all the time obviously but every now and again... but I would like some feed back on a Vegas cruise sometime during the summer... anyone interested? anyone thinks its a crappy idea?

why do people always seem to reads things a little to far then face value. Having a "modded" Lancer is not a requirement. Putting in some "effort" is however. If you just come to our meetings with no intention of making your car a better ride then why even bother joining? In fact we have plenty of members with stock rides but they all have a specific goal of what they want to eventually do. Engine mods, exterior, interior, car audio. I never said that you couldn't express yourself but if you consider leaving your car stock expressing yourself then all power to you.

I believe richards wording about other mini meets, was that meet whenever you want, just not neccisarrily in the name of SCLC... the same people can come, but we have our official meets every third saturday of the month... going off of what deltron said

"sometimes third saturday of every month is good other times it is not..."

that shouldn't be a problem... you know when the meets are... don't plan things on that day... try to schedule work around that... you can say when you arn't avalible, I can understand if every once in a while you CAN'T get off work, that's understandable... but otherwise, there isn't really a reason you shouldn't be able to come, mark your calendar... every 3rd sat of the month, count on an SCLC meet. not trying to rant or anything, but doesn't that make sense?
