the part # for the filter is mz690116 ...jenx, have you beat on your car? You probably shouldn't think it's something that serious first. Last week I was driving and started getting this nasty clicking sound and thought for sure it was drivetrain problem until I saw the head of a 8" nail stuck in my rear tire

I was reading through the guide at Kragen and the filters were really small in diameter and didnt look like they would fit. I normally use Mitsu filters, but since they were closed today i couldnt get a filter and need to do an oil change.
if its a mobil1 it will fit. same one i use on my car. it looks really small but it does fit and i have had it on for 2000 miles and no problems so.

Quite well. It took us a long time because of the damn spring compressors... The rears took us all of 10-20 minutes once we had it figured out. Nothing out of the ordinary and im looking forward to see what it looks like after the springs have settled and how it rides. It already looked much better.

Thanks to boostin for letting us use his garage. It made it MUCH eaiser!

Yes, definitely a huge THANKS to tripper and boostin for the help on the springs install. Great guys! So far the drop is still settling and of course the alignment is way off. But i still do have a quite few pops when turning right and left. Hopefully that front spring settles and the pops go away? Thanks again guys, much appreciated.

It'll go away. It took about 2 or 3 weeks for my swifts.

that popping is most likely from not lining up the bearing plate properly. make sure the bearing plate is lined up or you can destroy your bearings. seen it way too often at my shop from people doing home installs. it not supposed to pop. my old 04 evo did that right after a spring install and that was the culprit.

We lined up the fronts as close as we could to the imprints of the stock springs. The left front spring is about an inch off the imprint of the stock spring. If they dont self adjust themselves in about a week, then i guess we will have to check it out. Thanks for tip turbolag.

do not use an impact on the spring compressor!!! n00b haha.

no problem man. it was definatly better than doing chores. hope the popping goes away. if it doesnt your more that welcome to come back over and check it and if its wrong we can fix it.

springs may be my next install if decide to not go with coilovers. I like the drop on tripps car but i wanna wait until i see yours all settled out.
