Yeah, I saw you saturday night. I drove in my friends old 4Runner. I was about to say "hey" to you, but I thought I might look like a dork since I wasn't driving my own car. Looks great in person.

I have one question, my first mod........Where did u guys get a blowoff valve (re-circulating) and SRI at that doesnt cost $400?? Lookin to do this in the next week. Thanks

You think so? I mean i cant barely hear the stock BOV, but if you think its better to hold psi, then maybe i will leave it. I would like to have a recirculating one though.

If you are that interested in sound buy my K&N filter or get a good intake. Trust me everyone knows your car is fast and a loud blowoff valve that is VTA will make your car run worse. Spend the money on a quality TBE with o2 housing and a tune, and you'll have more fun than a obnoxious BOV

Is your K&N a complete set or just a drop in filter? How much would a TBE run thats good and a tune? Who around here even does this tuning for an evo?

OK I did alittle looking around in the engine bay last night, found the stock bov. My question is if i can replace the stock BOV with something better without replacing the entire intake system? Is this possible or do i need some special kind of flange.

A BOV is a waste of money. The only reason I have my HKS one on my car is because I got it for free (long story). The only time you should replace your BOV is when your running more psi and start to have boost leak, and that happens around 25psi (correct me if I'm wrong.)

Like everyone has been saying, your first mods should be a TBE with a tune. Those are the biggest bang for buck mods everyone should do.

Speaking of newbies, Whats everyone doing friday night? Does everyone want to meet up at In-N-Out at around, oh, lets say 1030?

nobody around here knows how to tune evo's. you gotta drive to the bay area for a good tune. I recommend speed element or vishnu

I'm down for friday or saturday. I saw a red evo on mccarren and pyramid way yesterday sounded like it had an intake cause I could hear the turbo spool and it had a bunch of gauges. Was that anyone on here?
