oh and sure.. I'm down to meet up. I don't get on it often at all. In fact, I don't even drive it much.

im finding out on the forums that some people claim blowing headgaskets at 26psi. some others are fine pushing 30psi without the need of headstuds. its up to you, but i wouldnt risk it ..... i turned my boost pressure down from 32 because i was overboosting its a bit colder in the nights

You are also on a Green, Carlos. Jim is running a 35r. They generally run out of fuel pump on e85 around 28psi with a single Walbro.

For $160 I think it would be worth it, just peace of mind. I was curious what people in the community were doing.

You could be right, but for some reason I feel like my problem wasn't with fuel and that I still had a little wiggle room. If I'm putting in headstuds, I'm also gonna buy a 2.3 and get a double pumper. May as well. *shrug*

Interesting.. I'm pricing out headstuds on buschur's site and they state that the l19 headstuds won't stretch like the others do. Are they saying I could install these and then when I finally DO stroke the motor, keep them?

Most of the time you gotta buy new studs, as they stretch...

I am a big fan of head studs. They are cheap insurance and perfect to do at time of a cam installation...

You can reuse ARP headstuds a few times with no issue.
The L19's are great as they won't stretch even under extreme pressure but I still have seen a reason to spend that much on head studs.
