I don't step on the gas often but I do it occasionally. 3 days ago I was passing this car on the freeway and when the turbo kicked in, it made a weird whining noise. Ive been reading about turbo whining and I get mixed answers but most of them lead to turbo failure. I checked everything today and I do not have a shaft play. I just changed oil yesterday and boosted the car again today and its the same thing.

Does anyone who have better knowledge than me have the time to ride with me during the day and see if my turbo is really gone?

I work at nights.

if it comes on as soon as you boost its proly a boost leak somewhere

just throwing it out there: i have some real fq400 rims on my car right now with decent tires. looking to trade for some aftermarket rims. i might be able to put some cash up. but not much. other guys rims gotta have some tires though!!!ill try and take some pics.

26-27psi on 91 octane is on the limit for my comfort zone...

Wheels for sale....

Is anyone interested in some 18 x9.5" Enkei Nt03 with Toyo R1R 265/35/18 tires. They have about 1000 miles on them and are in perfect shape.

Also have Baer Eradispeed 2-piece rotors that need to unload. They have about 2000 miles on them.

Well it is quite hard to hit full boost unless you on wot.. Lol

Anyways, do you know if its just a spike? I couldve sworn stage 2 ots maps are only between 23-24 psi boost target..

Also how do you like the aem intake you're running? I'm thinking of ditching my hks drop in.. I was hoping I'd squeeze a bit more power by switching from hkspf stage 2 to aem stage 2.. Any ideas?
