nah i was just thinking about maybe adjusting the preload on the spring probably making it go softer. just loosen the nut and turn the center with an allen key in the direction it say softer, retighten the nut and repeat till it responds better.

 

don't they have 2 springs? 1 big and 1 small that stays inside the big one. You can probably just take out the smaller one and make it softer.. I have one on my lancer. The only thing I hate about the bov is that I've ripped 2 diaphragms already, it causes the car to run like crap until replaced..

what part did you bend because the galant seems to be way to long

 

It should only be 6mm's longer. I bent the bracket that bolts to the intake manifold to it would sit flush in the block. You should compare the lenghts at the bottome of the tubes that stick into the block. don't remove the inner part/ gauge. that's the only part that matters. Give me a call or text if you have any more questions.
