I know this is totally random, but I am just finding out about this Utah evo thread. And real psyched about it, seems I live in utah and own an evo.

But has anyone had any experience with ziptie dynowerks in salt lake?
good?
bad?

I wanna hear em', cuz I may be taking my car into them today.
Are they going to destroy my wallet?

Personal experience with ziptie.... I'm not a fan. I know of a 2 cars they have destroyed.

I went to get tuned there, popped a coolant line on the turbo. Got It fixed went back up there about 4 weeks later. And they wanted to charge me for a complete new tune. They said its cause there was a change in management. I'm not sure the tuner Alex works there anymore, but he seemed legit.

Alex will still tune if you contact him directly and set up a time to go to zip tie. I've been very happy with my E85 speed density tune from last spring. I'm going back shortly to get it updated for some new engine work I've done over the winter.

Get a tune from gearhead instead. He's way good. And doesn't blow up cars like ziptie

Thanks for all the input guys, it's exactly what I was looking for!

I had a leaking coolant line running to the turbo, after I re-installed the turbo on monday (just got ported) the hose was pressed up against the tranny which eventually put a hole in the hose. I ended up replacing the hose and fixing the problem on tuesday.

Now I just have a boost leak problem, that I am experiencing ever since I put the turbo back in.

I've been trying to figure it out forever now, that's why I asked about ziptie cuz I'm to the point now where I am just frustrated, and the leaking coolant didn't make it any better. Ended up not taking it into them though.
