Lucky bastard. I love that city. Want to go back if I can someday.
Off topic, but check out Mission Bay, Pacific Beach, Gas Lamp quarter downtown, Horton Plaza, Balboa Park, Old Town, La Jolla, Coronado. Do you have a dog? If so, go to dog beach in Ocean Beach. He will love you forever.
I know auto x and dragging goes on at Qualcomm Stadium in Mission Valley. Have fun and take advantage of the great weather, nice people and increadible lifestyle.

Born and raised in S.D., too damn expensive to live here anymore. I might be moving to Vegas at the end of the year if the company I work for moves there. It is nice here, but like I said before... too expensive.
I hear ya. That's why I left SD. In fact, I went from Vegas to SD for 5 yrs, then back to Vegas for 6 months, missed San Diego, went back again for a year, then could not afford it anymore and returned to Vegas. I have since bought a house here that would be a million dollars over there, drive an Evo, have a dog and live in a nice new area with perfectly landscaped streets.
I made some investment. I bought my 2500sq ft house last year brand new for $269,000 in a high end area of Summerlin. Today, this house is valued at $445,000 ONE YEAR LATER. ****ing amazing. People around me have already sold because of the increased value and wanted to cash in. With all that equity, I may get a loan to pay off credit cards, the Evo, get a pool, furniture and all the mods I want. I thought i hated this town. Not no more.
