The Darkness was a cool game, but it had the same problem that so many PS3 games have had so far... It's like having a 700 hp Evo and living in New York City. SO much potential, not enough software that uses it all since everything is made for multiple systems. I rented it and Transformers for the PS3 a little while ago. Then I saw The Darkness on the 360, looks exactly the same, PS3 only games however... Even just GT:HD Demo looks better than the full-feature Forza 2 by like 500 fold. More effort just needs to be put into unlocking the full system potentials.

If anyone wants a PS3 get one fast, they're 100 dollars off untill the 60gb ones sell out. Otherwise, stick with the 360 untill around Christmas when all the good games come out (MGS, for example...)

 

I agree that a standalone is the way to go and it is why I bought and AEM but I'm very interested in seeing what the stock MAF is truly capable of. I would think it would have a lot of trouble going over 550 WHP (corrected) and still keeps tabs on the airflow. Richard was using the EVO MAF and he was supposedly seeing 60 pounds/min. But he was using a 2G ECU and MAF compensation. His car definitely was not as fast as the car would have been if it really was seeing 60 pounds/min of airflow. I think it was flat lining at like 3000 Hz.

But just because you are out of MAF does not mean that it can't make more power. I over ran my stock 2G MAF at 13 PSI and 7500 RPM. That was 45 pounds/min. At 20 PSI, it still made a hell of a lot more power then 13 PSI, but the MAF signal had flat lined at 45 pounds/min by 6000 RPM. Anything above this RPM point and the ECU had no idea the additional air was there. To get it to hold a decent A/F ratio, you would just fatten up the top end and other then the "map" looking funny, the car ran fine. Provided the airflow remains constant, you can easily tune to WELL past the point of the MAF over running. Only problem is, what happens when temp or air pressure changes???

Taking the stock MAF beyond it's airflow limits is like playing with fire... But I've been tuning Tay's car with this fire for two years now and it's a mean little bastard, especially on the E85.

I tuned an 03 to 570whp (corrected) on stock maf and ecu.

I want to do some e85 stuff, but am waiting until its a little more available. They keep popping up all over, so hopefully soon...

Fun to rent if you have a free rental at blockbuster... Not worth the 7 bucks to rent, but if you have some means of getting it, it is a pretty bad *** game, especially the levels where you play as Blackout, because, well, he's bad *** too. It gets kind of old because the missions are slightly repetitive: drive here, shoot this, kill them, drive there, fly here... etc etc.

Zelda is pretty fun. I just barely got past the part where you squish the bugs.

Paper is good, but Mario party 8 has all these locked games and i can't play them...lame. I'll have to play it some more....
