Wow. Everything went back up $1,000 dollars?

bestthereis27 Apr 1, 2006 09:17 PM

I'm hoping this is an April Fools Joke cause I was really planning on getting a IX SSL soon...now it's gone up $1700.

2theMAX Apr 1, 2006 09:31 PM

I was planning on flying over to South Coast in a few weeks to get a IX MR. If these prices are true and they went back up, I won't be going....

No joke! This is really disappointing. I was planning on getting my RS within the next month because the closest I could find out here was 27.5k. Now that its at 27k, it would be cheaper for me to buy at home because of shipping! I spoke with Mark a couple times last months and I was pumped when I heared there were over 20 RS's coming in. If you have over 110 evos coming in, you think you would keep it the same if not drop it. They would all be moved instantly with nothing to worry about. Not anymore for me. Im not trying to bash you Mark at all. You seem like a great guy with a great business, unfortunately, for me, local Mitsu here i come :(

ROK EVO Apr 2, 2006 09:19 AM

This deal is no longer that attractive for out-of-state buyers who would pay another 1K for shipping and go through that tiresome process w/ local RMV/DMV to register the car by himself or herself.

Yodobashi Apr 2, 2006 09:34 AM

What a bunch of whiners. Mark clearly stated when the deal was ending. And that's not to mention the fact these prices are still better than what your local dealers will offer.

maybe some like myself weren't ready to buy right away.... did you ever think about that?

That's your own fault - not Marks! Are you mad at Mitsubishi too because they ended the 0% apr deal before you were ready to buy?

This price jump obviously doesn't affect you. So why the name calling? For those of us who are/were ready to buy, this puts a damper on things. Sure it is still less than local dealers, but flying out of state or having the car delivered is not going to be that much less now. It would make more sense to buy locally even if it is a slightly higher price.
