Question About Spark Plugs

I have your P2 and some other mods. would changing to a heat range 8 or 9 iridium spark plugs help any? What are you experiences with the spark plugs on the evo?

I have posted some similar questions about this same thing and I have done some testing as well. You can run a colder plug I would say a heat range 8 but I would stick with an iridium tipped plug becuase if you changed to a copper like the BPR7ES you will notice a great performance decrease. I tryed the BPR7ES and it is like night and day. The stock Iridium 7s are much much better. The works p2 is still pretty rich tuned but a 8 would help with your knock counts. I have listed my thread below that has some great results and info.

The HKS Part number is S40G for the 8 heat range I believe.

We recommend stock iridium plugs for the P2.
