Cold Spark Plug Knowledge

Cold Spark Plug Knowledge
I'm replacing the stock NGK LZFR6AI with one step colder NGK LFR7AIX. I notice the cold plug (on the right) measures 0.060" shorter than the original from gasket surface to tip of electrode. I'm worried about less protrusion into the combustion chamber: is this a problem?
So, I contact NGK technical services about this discrepancy and they replied right away: it will work fine.
Just thought I'd share.

Thank you, Bakuro
and rzrxn i bought mine online from http://www.clubplug.ca/
Free shipping right now and excellent service! If you try to buy from Crappy Tire or someplace they get all weird about it and get you worried because it's "special order" and not stock and their on-sale prices don't apply to this part number.

Been running these for 2 years now, great plugs. Only had an issue one time because I apparently didn't tighten them down very well. Had corrosion everywhere

I think the gap is .30 or .29 and i just got the plugs about a month ago and my heat range is ok because its on the middle of the strap. And thats what i dont get my narrowband gauge says lean at wot but it dosent show it on the spark plug at it ever going lean. And yes i know NARROWBANDS SUCK lol.

lol, you have no business tuning a turbo car without a wideband...
that golden brown could very well indicate a lean condition, but the black **** on the thread is throwing me off...
get a wideband and start data logging before you make confetti out of your pistons, and throw a rod through the block...
