Not yet. I have to drop my car off and then pick it up next week. I will snap pictures once the car is back. The good news is that the production time shouldn't take long. Everything will be within a few days of the first set's completion.

are you going to have a problem with the ACD or the brake sensors?

I don't anticipate a problem with either. That being said, if you do upgrade the pads in the front, do so in the rear as well! Thank you for bringing that up.

I will test all of this VERY THOROUGHLY before releasing anything. Like I said, this will be done as safely as possible for both you and your cars.

Some more good info:

A good Evo 8/9 front rotor is the Centric Premium part #120.46064. (Same as stoptech)

They cost around $70/each on Amazon, etc

So about $140 for a pair. I've used these for years on my Evo 8 and have stood up just fine to track abuse as well as street.

So put the package together with all new parts:

1. Centric Premium front rotors part #120.46064 x2 - approx $140 for the pair
2. PBR C5 front calipers (no corvette logo) $299 or $334 for stiffer C6 versions
3. NFSLancerRA's brackets -$150
4. NFSLancerRA's SS brake lines - approx $80

Front kit = $669 w/C5 calipers or $704 w/C6 calipers. + whatever brake pads you prefer

Not a bad deal.

RA rotors = 11.6in
Evo 8/9 rotors = 12.6in

Not bad for 1in more rotor and stiffer/larger calipers

MRT uses the C6 calipers, so same if you spend the extra $34 or so for the C6's

Edit: It looks like the MRT kit uses larger rotors then the Evo 8/9, at 13.77in dia, which happens to be the same size as the Evo 10 rotors.

NFSLancerRA, maybe make a bracket approx 1" longer to fit the Evo 10 rotors? Or do two options?

So, if that is true, then those pictures that you showed me were for C6 Calipers bolted onto a 14" rotor? And the C6 Calipers are sold as replacements for the C5?

Yes, the MRT kit uses C6 calipers (no ridges), C5 calipers have those thin ridges. The C6 calipers are said to be stiffer.

MRT specs their BBK with 350mm rotors (13.77in)

If you guys would prefer that option, I will need a set of Evo X rotors and C6 Calipers.

AFAIK, the C6 calipers are "bolt on" for C5, so same bolt pattern.

So will we be able to use the C6 Z06 6-piston monoblocks calipers?

A lump just formed in my stomach. This is either really good news or really bad news. This MIGHT mean that you won't need brackets to run this setup. I really hope that that is what it means. It also means that we may need to go bigger with Evo X rotors. That isn't a big deal. I will pick up a set tomorrow, hopefully.

Hold off on buying the parts listed above. My car goes in on Thursday. I will know more then.

No you still need a bracket, look at the photos I posted above. The bolt pattern might be the same but you need to move the caliper away from the hub, probably even with the Evo 8/9 sized rotors.

I looked at the pictures. That bracket looks like it spaces the caliper out an inch and change. That is exactly the difference between the 8/9 rotors and the 10 rotors. After all, the Corvette did come with rotors that are approximately the same size. The issue is going to be offset. However, this may be a whole hell of a lot easier than I thought that it was going to be. It may be harder, too. We'll see. I may need to go with Evo X rotors, which is a bridge that I will cross when I come to it. One way or another, this will get done.

Well, if I can get my hands on a set of Evo X rotors, the sky is the limit in that regard.

Jesus, this is getting complicated. All I did was try and replace my brake rotors...
