However, this may be a whole hell of a lot easier than I thought that it was going to be. It may be harder, too. We'll see. I may need to go with Evo X rotors, which is a bridge that I will cross when I come to it. One way or another, this will get done.
Well, it's diameter remember. so 1/2" on one side.

I'm sure you will need brackets either way as even the Evo 8/9 rotors are 1" larger diameter then the RA rotors.

Personally I think if you can get the Evo 10 rotors to work with not much more fuss I would. Since the RA weighs basically the same as the Evo 10, it would be nice to have the same heat sink size as them.

It's your project though.

Jesus, this is getting complicated. All I did was try and replace my brake rotors...
I understand fully lol. I'm down for whatever you come up with.

Easy for you to say. You didn't just have a set of 8/9 rotors turned and cut today.

I'd be down for the X rotors. It'll look better with my wheels.

I just confirmed it. The Evo X rotor setup WILL be able to use the 6-piston setup. If I can get my Z06 brakes installed on the rear, you will be all set. However, that setup is going to RUN YOU. Holy **** are those calipers expensive!

yeah, i was just eye balling those on ebay... 1100 - 1300 for all 4 corners; calipers only; 6 pot fronts and 4 pot rears...

but they be balllin'

Personally, I think I'd be happy w/ the regular C5/C6 calipers on X rotors; until I win the lotto

No one needs to send me anything. Thanks though. I just need to find a set of Evo X rotors. This may have to be postponed until I can do so. I was fine running the Evo 8/9 setup, because it allows you to run 17" wheels and is considerably less expensive. But, I will push for larger rotors.

This also means that I will have the Evo 8/9 rotors fitted on the rears with a bracket for that as well. Happy dance!

Goodjob man, keep up the work and let us know what our new parts list will be if we do the X instead of the vette. We still will need brackets and brake lines i assume

Not to keep sounding like a negative nancy but the rears might be a tad harder then you think. Remember the e-brake assembly is in the rear hub/rotor hat so the Evo 8/9 rotor hat might be totally different.

Again, this is your project, but I figured any little bit of info might be helpful.
