Import Revolution 2008 - Pr Vs Usa
As everybody knows, there has been a war on Import Drag Racing for years between Puerto Rico and USA. This weekend we had a huge event in Puerto Rico called IMPORT REVOLUTION 2008 : PR VS USA. We had the best that the states had to offer vs the bests of Puerto Rico. It has been an amazing weekend, here are some pics I would like to share of some of the cars.
This is the Eclipse of Jose Tremols sponsored by AMS, its the first time it went to the track and it had some trouble on the first passes, remember its a completely new project and they are still setting up the Two Step, etc etc. We should see some amazing numbers from this project soon:
Here you can see the AMS Race VSR in the car! Sorry but they dont like to show the engine bay to no one!

I was out there for the weekend and the women were a plenty.Nice concept for an event but badly organized.sat night they raced till about 3:30 am sun morning.everyone wanted to use left lane to qualify so it was a big mess.sunday finals were at about 1:30am .no major league wasnt out there.they should get rid of that finger clutch and use triple disc or something.

Yeah, they had some problems with the organization. Apparently they didnt expected so many people and so many cars. But there were some nice runs.
Also, Brent Rau car will stay in Puerto Rico until march 2009, in the states the track will close for winter but in Puerto Rico we run all year! LOL! He will do more runs and events in Puerto Rico soon.
