Petro Canada 94 Octane
#2
i'm tunned for husky 94, and have recently found petro 94 always seems to be more convienant. ive filled up at both places over the last while. and no obvious issues. no extra knock the fuel ratios have been fine etc.
id say their pretty much the same. they both are a blend fuel/ethenol
if your tunned for 91.. putting 94 in will only ad an extra safety factor.

To my understanding both husky 94 and petro 94 are really similar. This topic was already covered on evox forums and I think they came to that conclusion but I can't remember. Some of the guys that go to the meetings got tuned on petro 94 by the way

I saw the signs in the Suncor building down town a month or so ago, but haven't seen a station that actually has it yet.Anyone know of any near down town central north? I find it hard to keep a 94 tune in the car due to the difficulty finding 94, so the more the merrier.

read the pump as see what it says or email Petro canada.
I emailed Husky myself to see what their Ethanol contents were in their 94 octane. the reply was that it was around 10-11% max.
Chevron are the only ones running pure gas 94 octane at the pump. Husky's 94 (E10) tends to lean out at higher rpm so i was told by my tuner Aaron from English racing.
So if you can get "pure" 94oct, it'll be your best bet. Im tempted to get retuned on Chevron's 94 to see if i can squeeze a bit more juice out of the car.

I just recently saw Petro Canada in the NW with it so it was new news to me. Maybe I will give it a try and see how it is with it. Always the higher is more better I guess.

essentially they are the same type of gas lol, thats why you do not see any differences.

I am pretty sure BC's Chevron is the only company that carries pure 94 octane Ethanol free.
