has anyone got a software update for the original units or had a issue with them logging very slow. I am only logging a few items and it seems to only gets and 3 lines a second sometimes even less. I used my old original evoscan nav gps thing until recently when the screen got cracked so figured I would give the evodroid another try.

Following up on this - anyway to mount it in the 2din if you have the space open? Will it connect to the car's stereo etc?

nvm - looked at the last few posts - so this new evodroid doesn't have gps correct? It's still called "EVODROID7: EvoScan 7" Android GPSNav CarPC " on the website though..

seems like no way to do this as an in dash to control car audio etc. Put in a ticket to evoscan saying this would be a good option, especially if they bundled it with the plastic to mount hvac in the bottom and open up the top for 2 din... anyone have a solution to this? Otherwise I'll prob just get a 2din running android from Amazon or something

If anyone has a Kindle 7 based Evodroid up and running could you please PM me? I ordered and received the hardware and APK right on time, but no instructions nor pin out and haven't been able to get the tablet to talk to the ECU.

Hamish hasn't been responsive for about a month. Not sure if anyone else has heard from him.

Probably been answered before but too much to read through right now lol...
But can this work on an fq 300 sst?reason i'm asking is because all evo x fqs are ecutek tuned and mitsubishi uk has 'locked' the ecu.

Just going to be using it as a digital monitor instead of having a bunch of individual gauges (boost, afr, oil pressure/temp, sst temp, coolant temperature, knock count and so on) until i can get the pass key to 'unlock' the ecu to be tuned
So will it work just plug and play out the box?
