EVO IX Ivey tuned 319whp!

I just got my car tuned today by Sean Ivey at Iveytune in Linden, NJ.
My car is a IX with 37k on the clock. The only power mods done to the car are kelford/hks 272 cams, hks intake, walbro 255lph fuel pump, and a hallman MBC. My goal with the car is to have a quiet, yet fast car. That is why I opted to keep the stock exhaust from the turbo back.

All of the parts were installed over at Dogbox racing in Howell, NJ. awesome people over there with extremely reasonable pricing.

Sean Ivey aka "The Ultimate" managed to squeeze 319whp and 317tq out of this limited setup and that is at 24psi. The car feels amazing! pulls hard even up top. And the drivability is just as expected to be, SPOT ON!

I am incredibly happy with the results and with the service of these two shops. I am really excited to get back to the track!!!

thanks again guys.

Looking good . What about fabbing an uber quiet 3 in w/ double resonators or double mufflers even? Bet you'd be suprised on how much power it would free up while remaining very quiet.

Either way good stuff man. Enjoy

I'm confused are the cams Kelford or HKS? Also Apexi World Sport catback is very quiet. Your missing out on a whole crap load of power. Oh BTW post your dyno sheet

Wow, Sean did a good job. For those mods and that power with all the restrictions you have on the car, that is great power. Congrats man.

Going to have to agree with going with an quiet aftermarket exhaust. You would be right around 350whp if you free up your exhaust. Why wouldn't you want that extra power at the cost of only a slightly louder exhaust?

yea sean did a great job, that was exactly where i was at on my first tune and i had the same exact idea keep it quiet. thats why you should get the QTP dp when your on the highway hit the switch and let her rip, then when your driving round town close it. and no one would ever know. plus like everyone said your gonna make a ton more power when freeing up that exhaust
