2.0l 70mm 802.7awhp

Hey guys,
Some have been following my build thread... and after a year we've reach my goals of having an 800whp evo street car.

Dyno used: MUSTANG DYNO
Boost: 39-40psi
Fuel: VP C16

Relevant Mod List:
Inline built 2.0l shortblock w/ Manley 9:1, Manley TT I beams, 88mm crank
Inline port mivec cyl head w/ Supertech 1mm oversize valves (stainles/inconel)
dual valve springs/ti retainers, bronze guides
Cosworth M2 272 deg Mivec Camshafts / HKS exh adj cam gear
Tilton twin disc w/ push - Carbon / Carbon
Shep Trans ultimate ratio Transmission
Inline custom fabricated front facing top mount turbo kit
Inline fabbed 3" aluminum IC piping w/ Hargett quick release o-ringed couplers.
75mm Boomba tbody
Inline fabbed Aluminum sheet metal Intake Manifold w/ integral velocity stacks
Inline 1/2" OD fuel rail
ID2000 injectors
Inline fabbed custom fuel system (Weldon FPR, -8 lines, Surge Tank feeding dual Bosch 044 pumps, surge fed by single Walbro 255 from stock tank)
AEM EMS series 1 (tuned by Huy Tran @ INLINE RACING)
Custom built T4 turbo / S-cover / 70.3mm IND - 94mm EXD

The mustang dyno on these pulls only sampled data up to around 9200rpm so thats why the graph cuts off there. But we actually made pulls to 9800-10,000rpm which would have shown a fatter powerband. Believe me, on the street it pulled relentlessly all the way to 10,000rpm breaking the tires loose in 3rd gear from a roll. I will be attempting my first single digit 1/4 miles passes this weekend in preparation for an upcoming Texas drag event at the end of the month! I hope to join some of the fast elite here in our evom community soon!

thanks to everyone that took interest in my build thread!
and thanks to Inline for building me a badass evo and for sponsoring me!

thanks for the pic tip!!! appreciate it man.

btw, guys a c6z06 that dynoed 420whp on a dynojet did 360whp on this mustang dyno before i got on it. Not sure how relevant that is, but im guessing it reads lower than a dynojet. Only trapspeeds will tell later. Also... when i grow some *****, i might raise the boost into the 45psi range, LOL

No problem. Actually I opened the PDF in adobe acrobat then print screened it and then opened Adobe photoshop and pasted printed screen image in there then cut out the dynosheet from the screen shot and uploaded to tinypic and there you have it.

Great numbers! Any further insight into the custom turbo used such as manufacturer or pics?

sure thing... i'll try my best to explain it. There are pics of it on my build thread also.

Basically it looks like a T4 GT35r or T4 67

The compressor cover is a typical .70 a/r S-Cover (like what is used on 35r, pte62 / 67, etc)

The chra is a big shaft setup from a 4294r. 70.3mm IND / 94mm EXD and if i'm not mistaken the turbine is a Q-Trim? i have to ask Huy. Hot side is a T4 housing in .81 A/R.

The best way i can explain it is... if the GT3582r was a stock framed turbo, then this thing would be equivelant to an FPblack, LOL. Big internals in small frame pretty much. It looks laggy, but on the street the boost comes on quick and hits hard around 6500rpm. The best part? It keeps going up until 10krpm so you just get pushed back into your seat for the whole ride. Im guessing this is why we're loosing traction when it hits up top. I was afraid it would fall out of boost between shifts, but so far i have been granny shifting it to preserve the tranny for the track and have yet to fall out of boost. But then again shifting at 9500-10,000 rpm probably explains most of that.

I'll try to remember to post up a boost plot from my aem logger. Its shows a clearer picture of how the boost comes on and level, etc.
