2.2, 10.5:1, 6466, ECMlink, 39-40psi dyno yesterday

Pretty happy with these numbers, as I just barely began to tune the car. Drove it over to the dyno yesterday and got some numbers.

Last year I was on the stock motor, full weight (ssl and all), fp black, comp 280's, ecmlink and went 10.9@130 and 11.1@133. Pcoolest thing about this is I drove it to the track (4+ hours away), raced, and came home the next day without any hiccups.

About a year ago I started this build and finished it about 3-4 weeks ago. I want 800whp and a 9 second pass, all self built and tuned.

Here's a quick rundown of the new mods:
150mm 2.2l, eagle 94mm/turbo tuff/Manley 2.2 pistons
6466 t3
Buschur exhaust mani
3" o2>3.5" downpipe>4" aluminum exhaust
ecmlink
2150's
s3's/kiggly beehives/hla
Neisi 3.75" IC
jmf uicp
jmf smim
Ams oil pan
Self built double pumper with two DW300's
aem fuel rail
fuelab afpr
RRT trans with evo 9 1st and 5th and evo 8 2-4 gears, evo 9 shafts
Jack's trans xfer case with lsd

Needless to say I'm pretty happy. The tune still needs some work, as it dipped into 10.8afrs around 6k and stayed at 11.1-11.0 the rest of the run, boost was 39-40lbs and timing was only 13* up top.

Must be a blast to drive. Love the Tq curve. How long u think the turbo will hold up? since it's maxed out. If you don't mind what's the specs on fd wheels, tires and spacers?

I know 40psi is barley waking up the 6466. I was going based off precisions website since they mentioned the 6466dbb rated at 900hp.

Depends on how good the VE of the motor is. Just because someone runs a 6466 out to 48psi it doesnt mean its really making more power. Akash made 906whp at 43psi dropping to 40psi for instance. I regularly see cars that "make" more power running over a certain amount but normally its in parts of the powerband it wont really be working in or its 4-5hp gains and then it shifts downward back to the left of the graph.

Josh,

If you come out for IFO next year come by the shop and let's strap it to a dynojet so we can compare the dynos.

Thanks guys, yeah this is a pretty fun combo so far. The first dyno log is corrected at i believe 1.15. Not sure if everyone posts up their corrected or uncorrected on here so I figured I'd do both.

Excited to go back once I get it leaned out a little and up the boost some.

The motor now has 140 miles on it so I'd say it's broken in now lol

I was thinking about hitting up IFO there and in Vegas. I'm actually thinking of moving to boise. Already thought of you guys if that happens (I'll be looking for a flex fuel tune on Aem infinity/series 2 from you guys).

I'm sure this dyno is a little inflated, but I'll be taking it to the track to find out for sure! It was fun none the less, and I currently hold the Awd and 4 cyl record on that dyno (it was a dynocom btw)

Forgot to add the head has been ported some as well, stock valves

Yessir they're holding up well!! I was gonna dyno with those on, but I wasn't sure if that was a good idea or not. That combo is waaaay light compared to the stock x wheels I have on now.

No reason other than being a puss lol. I wanted to hit at least 800, and the tune wasn't 100% dead on like I wanted with afr's so I need to go back and finish that up.

Not to mention the build just got done and I didn't want to have this build go down right after I got it done.

I'll go back in the next few weeks and possibly up it some more, just looking for enough for a 9.99 run at the track is all.
