Do i have to use Platinum Plugs????

well just like title said.. im currently running the NGK platinums on my Evo V but i want some new ones (cos these are getting old)

any suggestions on what others i could use.

you dont you can use copper matter of fact most people run the copper

bpr8es is what i use but mines an evo8

I would not run platinum's at all.


Copper or iridium's.

would these be ok if im running 1.5bar?? 98ron?? does it depend on mods?? also should i re-gap them do a diff spec or just chuck em in as new??

From what I am told, platinum plugs last longer but they don't spark as good as copper or iridum. Therefore they wouldn't be ideal for turbo aspirated cars. The ngk bpr8es are very common in evo's.

^^ ok just been reading another thread and it seems everyone is going BR8ES or BR7ES... so im gonna try BR8ES with .023 gap.

Copper is the most popular here, bpr7es, br7es, bpr8es and br8es. I never look back after running copper plugs, I am using bpr7es now and I just bought br7es, will try then next time.
