I cannot believe Perrin wouldn't give you a free filter! Do you have any Idea how much revenue they're going to see based off this test alone. Tsst Tsst Perrin even though I will probably end up buying one too! haha

Not much to weigh in on The testing looks fine to me and makes sense our old style filter made the most power as the car was tuned on it. I'd venture to guess the results could be brought closer to original filter with some custom tuning.
Thank you for the time you all put into the testing. I am more than satisfied with the results.

Chris,
Thanks for the tests and the mention.
I had little doubt that the Perrin would flow well being the type of foam filter it is. I am very familiar with that filter as it is the same as the old style AMSOIL Filters that we let go of a few years ago in favor of the equal flowing but better filtering Media we now have.
As shown in these tests, The top filters are pretty equal as far as flow, so 1 or 2 HP is not worth the dirt ingestion to me. I s**t canned the K&N after my oil analysis showed it didn't filter very well.
The same filter used in these tests, AMSOIL EAAU-4560 coincidently is $45.60 Plus Tax ordered through me directly. Normal Retail is $51.35 plus freight for $58.45 plus tax.
This is a 4.5" inlet X 6" long filter.. Other sizes are available, prices vary.

We also carry the INJEN intake systems which after Injens tests, now use the AMSOIL EAAU Filters
.
