FP Red with only meth and TBE
How much power can be had if your mods are only full TBE and Meth/water injection with the FP red Turbo?
So far all the threads show guys with extra mods like cams, 02 housings...
Im around 360HP with the stock Turbo w/meth
is 420HP possible without more mods?

The problem is, you will be out of fuel, so your short list instantly becomes longer by the need to also do injectors and fuel pump.....then the fact that if you're gonna bolt on a turbo like that (I have a BBK) you should do a ported manifold and SS o2 housing as well. Go ahead and try it and report your results! I think this would be cool to see

Just add 02 housing $150 or less, Fuel Pump $80, 880cc Injectors $300, LICP $150, MBC $75 to the TBE and your good to go with a Tune
And Clutch bc the stock one will go fairly quick with that power level
You can use the stock intercooler and UICP but it is holding you back on power. Get all the supporting mods first b4 you put on the RED.

personally, the FP Red is in a class all to itself...
with the Green and White, you can use stock parts to achieve your power goal. With the Red, you need fuel to support your power goals.. above 350whp or so, you're going to need fuel support to be on the safe side. If you want to be safe with the Red, like said above, fuel pump w/ 880's, FMiC w/ piping, and a 3 inch exhaust, you could achieve 400 whp easily.

Thats a nice and simple mod path. People will try to tell you to do all sorts of other bolt ons but the fact is, the car will be fast with a red, tbe and meth. Period.

I would at least through in a K&N drop in filter as well. So for the bare minimum to run a red, you will need a walbro 255, some bigger injectors, and an intake of some sorts, whether it be a kit or just a drop in. So that's what:
Red- $1800
K&N drop in- $40
Walbro 255- $80
750-880 Injectors- $350
Tune- $450
----------------------------
$2720
That's the basics
Add Meth and your looking at an additional $1000 on top of that, depending on the kit that you go with.
By running meth 50-50, you should be able to keep your IAT's lower, so that will help with the cooling, however on a stock intercooler you see some major heat soak after a pull or two.

I agree from first hand experience. However, still, with a red pushing 29psi + on meth, you are going to heat soak the stock IC very quickly, once again from personal experience. The stock IC starts to see heat soak very quickly even on the stock turbo after back to back pulls.

So what size Injectors should he be running with supporting mods? cam, intercooler, meth and such. I was thinking 720 with a stock turbo. 880 on a gt35r. Some people I have been seeing with 1000cc. I searched and still searching for answers.

why do you guys say upgrade the intercooler and adding fuel pump and injectors.Shoot at 27psi boost with meth I had to drop my fuel map by like 1 full point to get 11.8-12.0 a/f. so I cant see adding say 80HP i would need a fuel pump and injectors especially when im at around 70-80% IDC and we all know 110 IDC is starting to reach the limits. Shoot mellon as I recall was running 120IDC's with no problems.
