Service manual on CD
I have learned more about our cars in the last half hour than I have in the last month or so of reading about it on the internet.
Item #1 Even running a 255lph HIGH PRESSURE walbro pump you will most likely NOT need an aftermarket fuel pressure regulator due to the stock fuel system running the fuel pump at reduced voltage during idle and low load situations.
Item #2 Since I already have the FPR, I looked up idle pressure. With the vacuum/boost line hooked up at idle you should have 33 psi of fuel pressure. With the line unhooked you should have 42 psi to 45 psi fuel pressure.
Anyone with questions I am willing to look up stuff and try to help

The problem with the 255 lph high pressure pumps has ALWAYS been that you could not get fuel pressure low enough at idle, they worked fine under high load when the higher pressure was needed. I don't think anyone has tried it yet because everyone assumes it is like the 1G and 2G DSM's. I am willing to try it with my stock regulator first since I have the Aeromotive sitting on my desk waiting to go on if I am wrong

So keep everyone posted... If I get around to getting a wideband setup I may try it myself. I've got two 255lph pumps hanging on the wall right now.
...and I believe it was Silver Surfer who has tried it and had to lean out the top end a good bit...

2. Volume 1 (temp manual)
3. Volume 2 (temp manual)
4. Volume 3 (temp manual)
5. Body repair manual

Or you can just find the iso somewhere on the internet and download it. Seriously though, This manual is amazing. It has every possible bit of information about our cars that the factory has to offer. I'm pretty sure that this is the actual tech manual.
