Help with buying an evo

So I've been looking for an evo for some time that was within my price range and I found one in Toledo Ohio. The guy selling the car says its always been in a garage, no dings or scratches, under 100k miles, runs perfect and the reason he is getting rid of it is because he is leaving for Afghanistan on the 25th and I'm worried because its under 10k. I would like no know your opinions on this car and ask for any of your guy's help that live in the Toledo area to maybe look at it for me because i would have to ship the car across country.

generally you want to look and drive an evo before you buy it. its a car that can have lots of problems or without problems. how america is becoming, everyone is trying to take advantage of someone else. just be cautious.

Have him snap a date stamped pic of it in his garage. If it looks clean, fly out and pick it up. There are deals out there. Don't let the fear of a scam make you so gun shy you miss out.

This can not be legit. There is no evo in the condition you stated for under 10k. End of story. unless it's an evo 1-6. Sounds like one of those online scammers, also no dings or scratches with 100k miles? Haha camon dude at least be realistic...

^You think it's legit because of a few pics?

Well then. Ether he's really bad at changing prices of his posts around the internet and has no idea that his car is modded or this is a scam. Thank you guys for your help, I'll keep looking around.

this also seems very shady. He didn't mention any issues in the description and the pics look to good to be true. Don't forget scammers love choosing the evo as bait, it's a very desirable car for a lot of younger people who cannot afford most asking prices out there. they usually end up going on a scavenger hunt to find a deal and end up getting ripped off.
