70mm Throttle Body - C R A Z Y PRICE!!
SOLD
I was poking around the warehouse again and found this S90 70mm aluminum throttle body. This is a very high quality piece, machined from a solid chunk of 6061-T6 billet aluminum. No bored out OEM TB here, guys.
This has been designed for the Evo VII - IX (7 - 9), and people have seen gains in the 15hp range with JUST a throttle body!! That's cool and all, but here's the best part... We're making room for new inventory, so
you can have it for $50!! + S&H

Some EvoM members reviews and opinions of this product!
The install was straight forward and I oppened up (ported) the Magnus TB addapter plate to match the gasket of the S90 TB. Had to turn into the hulk to fit the silicone elbow up the neck of the S90 and after loosing a couple pounds in sweat it was acomplished... that was the hardest part of the install, but for anyone using the stock coupler it shouldn´t be that hard.
Driving impressions: After setting the TPS and idle rpm I went for the test drive, the response is a little improved and pedal feel is better, there is no additional jerkiness or lack of precision for power delivery. I have already driven in hard traffic and there are no problems whatsoever.
All in all I´m happy with the results and the next step (in 1-2 months) will be a slightly ported head with S2 cams, hopefully to help me get closer to the 400 whp DJ numbers.
Cheers,
Ricardo

Got mine from ebay for $165 Australian dollars plus shipping. Haven´t seen other popular brands throttle bodies first hand, so can´t compare S90 quality to others, but the S90 is very good quality.
Fitment with the Magnus is perfect, but I´ve read in other forum that fitment with OEM intake manifold is good but the intake´s inlet can´t be ported to fully match the S90 because there is not enough material, so aditional wall thickness has to be added (welded) if gasket matching to leave a good sealing surface. Other people just install it without touching anything in the OEM IM and it fits.
Can´t comment on the seals cause haven´t performed a boost leak test, but overall construction seems very solid. Oh, and in my case since the TB is flipped upside down it is much nicer to have the biss screw in an easy to reach location.
Hope this helps,
Ricardo
