16 inch Wheels?
Guys, what are the available options for a 16" wheel to fit the Evo's big brakes without the use of spacers?
I need them to fit the Mickey Thompson 26x10x16 dot slick.
Thanks

I am also curious as to what 16" wheels people have fit, becuase I want to run 16's for a winter setup. Without knowing anyone who has fitted 16's I would imagine the wheels that fit in 17's same size and offset probably will fit in 16's no gaurantee however it's a starting point.

The other company you can try is:

Search the sn "tahoeacr" and you can find pics of the wheels he got from them to fit over oem brembos.
Not sure on price and whether it would be just better to go w/ CCW's.
Has anyone talked to Bogart i know for sure they can make them but AT WHAT COST again?
I need to send Bogart the required measurements to clear the Brembos so maybe i'll post up again next week when i find out unless someone else has spoken with them.

John i know Paul had mentioned in a thread about a year ago about motorcycle slicks but said he was concerned about the weight.
What do you guys think since they are only 13lbs and the thing i like is the fact that they don't need a significant burnout to work well.....only thing i don't like is putting them on an 8" wide wheel when they are only 7" wide

Enkei makes the RPF1 in a 16x8 with 32 and 25 offsets. With the way the spokes on that wheel curve out I wouldn't be surprised if they cleared the brakes no problem. Theres also a 16x7 +30 that would probably make for a great winter setup.

For those that might want to run winter set-up. After four winters here is what I would run. No wider than 6" and I prefer 5". 205-60 worked alot better than 205-50 but did rub. 50 series measured 1.5" wider tread. Felt much better of course in the dry and just wet roads. I finally got my car stuck with the shorter 50 series. The 60 series did rub a little. I did have to run -1 camber in the rear or would get oversteer. Stock suspension worked great. Better than the coil-overs i tried.
At the time that I was looking for rims Bogart said they couldn't do it. They were one of my first choices.
I can change the inside rim half and get 7.5". Not sure if an 8" would clear.
If anyone wants to check them out in the winter before they buy come on up. Always have an open invitation for a test drive(if you have rally driver skills in the snow ).

So, I did a little digging around for you. You're welcome...
I found this thread that does say that 16" RX7 wheels fit. He used to run them on his evo and he's selling em. He says you need a 20mm spacer up front.
