I have the full flex setup ready to go for mine, just waiting for my ROM to be released.

Also there are probably 5-6 places spread around WNY that have E85
Is Chris Carbee still tuning out of STM? If so thats who I would go get a tune from. And what rom are you waiting for? I thought all USDM years Rom's were released except the 2015

Nope he went back down to Florida, I was planning on going to him lol. Emery doesn't have any plans to do it either so I'm looking for a good shop out of the northeast to do it.
I'm waiting for the 2012 rom, it's just about ready from tephras thread

Thinking about getting a Turbosmart Kompact DV to hold better boost up top cause the stock one is definitely leaking. Should be a nice improvement

I've been running FlexFuel tuned by 5150 for over 8 months and tracked it a few times, and it's been great.

I switched to a Works BOV, seems to be holding fine and no aftermarket BOV issues. But my peak boost on E85 is only 28 PSI.

WORKS is just the oem unit with the upgraded internals right?

WORKS bov is a rebranded Tomei BOV and they add another $100 to the price.

Any WORKS Evo product is pretty much a rebranded part from another manufacturer and they then jack up the price.

Do some sleuthing and you can save some money.

Either gonna crush my stock one or pick up a turbosmart kompact plub back one. it's a steal for only $126 from RSD

It was a couple of months back at STM. I am not sure if it was Chris Carbee but his name was Chris as well.

Where are some of the stations around Buffalo?

Nice setup! After running straight E85 for over a year I want this bad.

Do you typically stick to E85 fills or do you run whatever is available?

I plan to run only E85 as the station I get it from is only a mile from my house. I will only run pump gas if I need it on a road trip

Ah yea it was him then, damn didn't know anybody else around WNY who had converted yet, I wanted to be the first lol.

Noco on GI, Sunoco on Maple somewhere, 5-6 others that I've heard of but not sure of location.

That might have been me then.

I just got an ASNU 330 LPH fuel pump and FIC 1100cc injectors that will go into the car this week so that I can do E85. I'm looking at the flexfuel options as well and once I get it all done myself I'll be able to do it for other tunes as well. I've done a fair amount of E85 tuning now along with E25 and E100 down in Brazil remotely, there is definitely nice power to be had and the flex fuel option makes it easier to deal with instead of manual map switching.

I'll talk to Emery about the flex fuel tuning, not sure why he would shy away from it on the Evo X's although it is pretty new. It would take a bit more time to tune and verify all is well at different ethanol values but then you just charge a bit more for the tune to account for the time.

I can't wait to get my setup installed and the car tuned! I have all the parts waiting in my garage for me to get home and install them. I'm Going to Chris Carbee this July to get it all done.
