IMHO, the top speed pro 1 exhaust is the best sounding exhaust for the evo. I remember hearing a video of it on youtube and the evo sounded like it had a v8 in it, it was incredible.

So I started to go page by page but no luck other then the original showing the pic, but has anyone tried the Injen SES Performance Exhaust ( http://www.autoanything.com/exhausts...A2578A0A0.aspx ) on an Evo? Back when I had my GTS I wanted to get the setup because it sounded nice and not too ricey (
). Havent seen any post yet with people saying they tried it.

I'm a big fan of the Tomei setup but it seems that everyone in my area is running it which makes it a bit less interesting...

I know what you mean, but I think it is one of the best sounding systems for the evo. I love the Injen systems for the lower lancers, but Tomei is worth the setup, plus depending what other mods you put for intake and headers you could change the sound slightly of the whole car so it wouldnt be sounding exact.

I'm looking for a new catback exhaust that is quiet at low revs but still has decent HP gains. The inspection stations in my area are all hardasses about making sure the exhaust is not much louder than stock and I don't really want to have to swap the stock exhaust in every year if I can avoid it. I've been trying to find a more performance-friendly inspection station locally but so far no luck.

Why not look for something that has a silencer, so you can have w.e you like and it be quite.

It's hard to tell from videos, who makes the loudest dual exit catback for the Evo X that still has a muffler?

I'm led to believe all of these exhausts are loud, but is any one louder than the others? ETS V2 Regular, Buschur with bullet muffler, Ultimate Racing, Top Speed Pro 1.

Anything else I might have missed, the AMS twin tip looks perfect for me but they don't make it anymore.
