Loudest Evo X Exhaust
After keep my X stock for nearly two years, I've relapsed into full-blown "mod fever"! Now, I'm on the hunt for the LOUDEST bolt-on turboback exhaust system for the Evo X. Well-document HP gain definitely a plus. I've done some searching, but most things I've found apply only to previous generation Evos. For the X, I recall some candidates being AMS, Ultimate Racing, and Buschur, but no hard data. Please help!

I have the Buschur bullet version, chopped off the muffler, and had a smaller resonator welded in its place. Personally I think it's too loud.

i would definately say AMS for sure... im currently running the single-exit catback and test pipe along with their 02 downpipe... it is freaking loud! my g/f got pulled over for my exhaust last year for it being loud.. luckily the cop wrote it as correctable!.
anyways with my AMS parts and the aem intake im pushing 340 awhp....
definately recommend AMS!!!!

Thank you all for your helpful input.
I would rather do something that's plug-and-play rather than having to to custom fabricate. Practicality is also somewhat important, thus I would like something that has a good chance of passing state inspections. Does this mean it would need to have a cat and some kind of muffler?
The ETS pictured above looks and sounds awesome. What would be one notch below this in loudness and also has a muffler? Is it available with a high-flow cat? Finally, what the estimated HP gain for a otherwise stock Evo with and without tuning?
Thanks again!
